A loss of nation:ysr reddy

Living in Hyderabad from last 16 months,A day always starts with a cup of tea along with the newspaper. But the day, 3 september2009 started with a shocking and disappointing news of the demise of one of our charismatic leader.
Like others,I also never want to start my day with such type of heartbreaking news.but the sound of Indian air force planes and choppers from the last day and night was clearly indicating that something is going to be serious(i am living nearby to Begumpet airport, hyderabad)
The destiny is destiny. No one can change it.with this news, the negative side of my heart which was again and again saying that it might also happen, finally won despite of my all pray and remembering of his good work for the poor and backward people of the society in Andhra pradesh.
Dr.YSR Reddy, the current chief minister of Andhra Pradesh,is now no more with his people who loved him in such a way that i saw on television how the people were crying for him.It seems like they don't want to hear this mournful news about their beloved leader.
He was called as the man who believes in keeping promise, that is why he ignored the weather forecast and went for his people to whom he had promised to start a new policy from their village.
As per my view, in Andhra Pradesh he was not because of Congress but the Congress party was because of him.
His committed and dedicated work for the people in his last 5years of leadership had given him the reward to work again for them. His unique and dynamic vision keep him apart than the other politicians.Although he was a doctor professionally but i think in real sense he knew the pulse of the people of Andhra Pradesh.
Now we all are going to miss such an educated and visionary leader in the democracy of our country.
He will be mourned by us,his family, his friend, and by the nation.....surely by the god too who dared to send his son into the unknown.
Vibhav S is signing off with the pray for his peaceful soul.

dear sorry,
i m very disappointed after getting such absurd remark for a person
when u dont know about him.
did u see tv in last two days? did u see nything related to this demise on internet.
just search n get how many people have committed suicide because of his death.
he was the leader of poor people. he was the man who made promises and completed them.
thats why he came in power second time with more seats in state and loksabha both.
(for ur kind information,129 seats in 2004 election and 133 in 2009 with full majority, truth and honesty still survive on this earth,mr suhail. don't compare to all in the 'rang de basanti theme' style,
i agree that it exist but honesty also exist )
find out and see on tv or internet how the people were colleted in hyderabad from all over AP. to pay him last tribute. see how they were crying? their families were crying.see their overwhelming reaction.
i cried atleast thrice yesterday when i saw the people's response. even i am not so much AP related.
really 1st time, i also saw this type of reaction and i found that democracy is running because there are such type of leader.
it is very easy to blame others but first put ur step in their shoes and make a remark.
find out his policies for poor people 2kg rice/housing projects/rozgar yozna/arogysree(a medical facility..............n so many.a lot of people were depend on these.
besides that he was a mbbs doctor professionally, we need such type of educated leader for our democracy.
give me an answer,suhail....when u were in UP, have u read in newspaper about such popular beneficial policies which be started by our useless CM like mayawati n mulayam singh.
never.....
they only fight for caste and religion based vote politics. or will make their statue and park.
just disgusting.
i can be fool , you can be fool but all people can not be fool.
do u know around 100ppl had committed suicide or died coz of heart attack after hearing this news.
its not easy thing my dear, they also have their family and all but why they did so?
because they were so attached with this leader that they cud not bear it. more than 1 lack people were collected in hyderabad to see him last time .n all over the road ppl were crying.
u know why he went there despite of met dept warning(from last 3 days in hyd itself, heavy downpour is here)he went to start a new policy inthat particular village.

Dear, Thanks for all the info that u poured. But this information is available to all on the net. Even I know that he was close to the poor. I do not ve a TV but newspapaers and the internet media have covered it largely.
Read my statement closely. And let me refine my statement. Any human's accident on flight/road is a tragedy. I do feel sorry for a man but politicians are different nuts.
I said people in the country and not just AP and my statement is true. Millions do live a life BPL. You may go through the article http://infochangeindia.org/200606275039/Poverty/News/Poverty-in-India-down-but-not-as-much-as-earlier-reported-survey.html
Read about the farmer's plight during his reign in the pdf - http://www.telugudesam.org/tdpcms/scams/vyavasayam/Farmers%20Suicide%20Final.pdf
I do not have anything personally against the man. I agree that he was a learned man unlike many politicians in our country. But politicians are politicians.
And thanks for telling that I do not know anything about him!
There would have been more farmers' suicides than the present number of suicides. Do not just carried away by what you see on the TV. Try to get the larger picture. And what about 30/40/50 and sometimes 60% of people who do not vote in a Democracy. They are not fools.
I suggest read my concise statement again. Millions who are on the roads may never know who was YSR and even if they knew, it would not make any difference in the size of bread they get in a day.

Dear Vibhav,

Since you asked me to comment,

Here are my views:
I do agree about your sentiments and argument but it was also not a wise decision to fly on bad weather to keep promise.
Regarding the popularity, No doubt that YSR was well accepted leader in AP as he defeated Mr. Naidu but also the fact also cannot be changed that YSR won his second term because of third front in AP by Chiranjeevi.
You will also agree that without involvement of CM, The Satyam Scam was not possible; hence we cannot give a certificate to him for the best leader to any of them.
Now a day people are playing cheap politics for popularity like Rs. 2 for 1 Kg Rice and blah blah. But do you think from where money will come to keep such cheap promises. These people play with our tax money which can be utilized for India’s growth instead of these cheap politics.
Some people believe that his death is not accidental, it could be planned murder.
Regarding UP, Mayawati’s governance has stopped the growth and we all are responsible for that as we support them because of our benefit.
I also don’t agree with the statement that politician or regional parties are responsible for creating corruption, just see our self, we all are responsible for creating mess in India because we all are in competition to generate fast money. In UP especially, I have seen people do try short cut to get their work done either by finding approach or give money.
The only solution which I see to cure corruption to ask our self that are we deserve for this position or money which we dream for. If not then let the best person get.
